The infamous AP essay is a dreaded part of any AP student's year. Unless you're some kind of freak, you don't look forward to these assignments. But, a good student can make them tolerable. A good student can also make them a good learning experience to further prepare them for future essays, especially ones that require MLA format. The one piece of advice I can give is to use all the time Mr. Brock gives. If you have a week to do an essay, utilize every day to work on your essay. This cuts down on your last minute acts of procrastination. These acts are inevitable, but will decrease over your year. Another word of wisdom i can give is to get someone else to proofread your work. A parent, a friend, or a sibling are all good candidates for proofreaders.
